.Serve as the resident content and grade level expert for Teach for America corps members .Support corps members in securing appropriate resources to teach the objectives outlined in their summer school curriculum.·Observe corps member teaching and provide written and face to face feedback daily on effectiveness with an emphasis on grade level and content appropriateness. ·Meet at least once a week with each corps member individually to provide extended support and development. ·Support corps member development by engaging in lesson modeling or co-teaching, as necessary. ·Work collaboratively with Teach For America staff to support the development of the corps members in the following areas: classroom management and instructional control, methods and practice, execution, classroom culture, lesson planning. ·Remain in the classroom at all times serving as a mentor and coach to 4 corps members. ·Serve as the teacher of record for the classroom.
