As a contracted consultant, I've developed and worked on the online trading system for a Ubisoft studio game Anno Online. Anno Online was a free-to-play strategy browser game by Ubisoft. It was a spin-off of the Anno series. The players could develop and manage island braced cities from the first settlers to commercial empires.My role entailed rapid prototyping on the front-end, creating mocked data points which served as alpha and beta templates for the backend engineering teams. My experience with the gaming industry was a fun, intense and rewarding period.

We were working on our first privacy and anonymity product, which encrypted and anonymise your network traffic using a proprietary Kernel. As a hands-on CTO, my role included management of the development team, deployment responsibility, road-mapping and developing and designing the server infrastructure, product architecture and graphic user interface design. During this time I’ve co-authored two encryption patents for secure communication and secure data storage.

Development of an interactive web based educational book called BABOK. The role entailed solution architecture, development of the product core components, visuals, graphic profile, website, product video and the product itself. As a sole founder of the company and starting as a one-man-band I was responsible for project management, development and the design of the projects. Eventually the company grew to a team of seven when my role started becoming more focused on team management and client relationships.During these 5 fruitful years we've launched over 80+ web projects, 20+ custom backend systems, 50+ graphical profile projects, 40+ print projects, 10+ desktop applications and 5+ mobile applications. Our clients, among many others, included the Customs ministry of Slovenian Government, KRKA d.d., Halcom banking software, , 411.ca Canadian directory service, Crea Plus encryption and security company, Publishing house Tehnična Založba Slovenije d.d., Mass data storage company CRMT, Slovenian ISP TUŠ Telekom, Slovenian ISP Zaslon Telecom, Lacoste Slovenia, Slovenian national patent agency and Vzajemna national insurance company.

My first role entailed content management and development of the official Slovenian hockey associations website along with a couple of other micro-sites such as official websites for hockey clubs participating in the national league.One of the biggest challenges was developing a a real-time Javascript based application that posted live scores, penalties and other events from the scorekeepers’ bench directly to the web using early push technology which utilised the endless pull workarounds. Quite an achievement back in 2004.

I've started my entrepreneurial journey at young age, while I was still in high school.My beginnings in the field of digital creation were driven by passion and curiosity. Those two traits enabled me to land opportunities of creating digital tools, websites, brand profiles and promotional material for local family owned businesses and non-profits. By using rudimentary tools at the time, a notepad, excel, Corel Draw and a few others, I was able to spark my future career as digital creator. I identify this time as a crucial turning point in my life, the kindling which ignited a flourishing journey in the digital world.
