I now serve on the Board of Trustees for the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.As Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Strategy, Product Innovation and Digital for Allianz Life, I consistently exceeded P/L targets. After the 2008 crash, I profitably restructured the entire annuity and life product lines allowing Allianz to continue its #1 market share. To harness untapped market opportunities, I introduced the leading hybrid annuity, launched unique indices in partnership with PIMCO, Blackrock, and Barclays, and co-led Allianz Life Ventures. As Senior Vice President, Client Experience and Marketing for Ameriprise Financial, I used predictive analytics to develop and lead surround sound marketing offers. Our campaign response and conversion rates showed double-digit improvements with incremental asset targets exceeded by more than 160%. Earlier, as Vice President of Client/Advisor Marketing and Marketing Services, I was one of the key leaders driving the spin-off of Ameriprise from American Express – a once in a career opportunity. We retained our advisors and clients, while completing the 2nd largest spin-off in US history in only 8 months. At American Express, I led the direct to consumer financial services start up company and pioneered the digital businesses during the ‘dot com’ boom. I have enjoyed a progression of roles in sales, product development and asset management.
