I have worked in the IT industry for more than 25 years doing software development using various languages and methodologies. Previous experience is with Microsoft technology specifically C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL and did some legacy work using VB6. Before that I worked on systems running on Linux and using Postgres SQL.I very much enjoy the challenge of learning new technology and I spend a lot of free time playing with the latest that the industry offers. At the same time, I'm aware that there are often cases where older technology has to be used because of specific client constraints preventing them from always using the latest and greatest and I believe the mark of a versatile craftsman is to be able to use the tools at hand to achieve optimum productivity.
