I am an administrator with 2 years of work experience in the Higher Education sector in the United Kingdom. I have worked within the UK's HE-sector, but also volunteered for 9 months at Southwark Council's Community Engagement team.Until recently, I was an Administrator for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, a Higher Education specialist institution. The purpose of my role was to apply creative thinking and enthusiasm to a variety of administrative functions in support of the efficient day-to-day running of the higher education programmes. Further, I provided administrative support for activities relating to the continuing development and support of the dance programmes. It was expected of me to act with individual initiative within the context of my role, and to deal discreetly and efficiently with confidential information.It was my aim at Trinity Laban to design and implement a number of processes and systems, that enabled a smoother running of day to day programme management and events. I implemented, amongst others, a new Open Day concept, which was trialled in Spring 2015. The following academic year, Student Recruitment and I reviewed the results, and proposed a number of improvements to the Programme Management team. I am proud to have prepared and seen the first, newly revised, Open Day in November 2016. Feedback from prospective students and staff indicated that the new format was superior to the previous one. Colleagues know me as a very energetic and focused individual, who puts pride in her work. As the liaison between a number of managers and departments it was paramount that I maintained a position of objectivity. I work very well within a team or alone, when required. I have a PhD and an MA from Sheffield University (UK). Due to personal circumstances, I resigned from my job and moved to Berlin, Germany.
