The India Platform created a network of closely related partners in Europe and India on the basis of a well thought through vision. As a team we went beyond the usual networking and institutional contracting and let the research in Comparative Science of Cultures be our guide in all projects, visits and activities.

Project management of the European Commission Asia-Link project 'DEVHAS' - Development of Human Resources and Strategies for Education on the Stereotypical Images and Cultural Differences between Europe and South Asia.Activities involved:- Training of 5 groups of PhD students (Indian - Sir Lankan - Belgian)- Workshops, seminars, conferences- Outreach to non-academic audiences

Coordinating model parliaments for 17-18 year old volunteers interested in international sustainable development, with an annual one-day session at the Parliaments of Belgium and Flanders where the volunteers discuss their model proposals with politicians.

Training committed young people and youth workers in Europe, based on the European Commission ‘Training for Trainers’, in topics such as project management and cultural differences.

Teaching groups and individuals consisting of government administrators and business employees.
