As a Strategic Advisor, my role is to help SMK Engineering come up with the right business strategy for their business. As a Consulting Head, I have the responsibility to work with clients to understand their technical challenges in the area of Wind Power, Lubrication and bearings in general and coming up with out of the box, innovative solutions combining bleeding edge technology with practical on-the ground field experience. As part of this role, I have come up with exciting solutions for an array of industries including Monorail, Wind Power, Steel Rolling Mills, Stone Crushing and even small scale industries like Matches.

I was in charge for preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), Design & Construction drawings for Hydro Electric Projects in Tamilnadu including preparation of Tender Specifications for Major and Mini Hydro Electric Projects. Following are the Major Projects:* Bhavani Kattalai HEP II and III (Rs. 1000 Crores)* Bhavani Barrages I & II (Rs. 500 Crores)* Kollimalai HEP (Rs. 300 Crores).Also in charge for major repair Maintenance works in all existing Hydro Power Stations and all Sub Stations in Distribution Circles.I was also in charge for the production of RCC & PSC Poles from nearly 100 RCC sites and 23 Prestressed Concrete Pole casting sites situated throughout Tamilnadu (Rs 100 Crores per Year). In this role, I had doubled the production output during my tenure by bringing in operational efficiencies and increasing capacity as neededI was solely responsible for mobilisation of about 60,000 numbers of Electric Poles to the Thane Cyclone affected region including Cuddalore, Villupuram and Nagai areas in 2011 in a short period of 25 Days and responsible for restoring electricity to all the affected areas in 30 days.

I was in charge of all Civil works and 2 PSC yards and 15 RCC yards in Tirunelveli Region . During my tenure nearly Rs150 crores value of works was carried out end to end from the planning till completion of works, under my supervision

Kadamparai, India

I was in charge for Civil Renovation works in KADAMPARAI PUMPED STORAGE PROJECT and Civil Maintenance works in Four Hydro Stations in Kadamparai Generation Circle.

Tiruvannamalai Area, India

I was in charge of Civil works in Tiruvannamalai Distribution Circle and Pole casting works in 6 RCC yards.During my tenure Rs 50 crores worth of buildings were constructed. I was responsible for end to end (from the planning till completion) of this activity

I was responsible for detailed survey for establishment of Hydro Power Stations in Tamilnadu.I was responsible for preparation of Detailed Project Report for Pykara Ultimate Pumped Storage Project in Nilgiris District of Tamilnadu. I was responsible for identifying new Mini / Micro Hydro Power Stations in Tamilnadu.
