As a R&D management trainee I have worked in different roles and categories in Unilever R&D Vlaardingen. - Starting out in the Discover organisation I worked in Disruptive Innovations, looking for disruptive design ideas and coordinating concept design for proof on principle leading to two patent filings.- I then worked in the Laundry RDC as technical project leader in the Dirt is Good Portfolio, leading EU rollouts. - After that I was responsible for Claims & Consumer Technical Insights for Clear in the Hair RDC and worked as a Technical Project Leader for Toni & Guy and Clear. I led the regional R&D project teams in e.g innovation projects and am key contact to brand development, supply chain, global design teams as well as global CTI/Claims and local managers.

Thesis title: Innovation support needs of sustainability driven small firms.This was a research project to find out about the innovation processes and innovation support needs of new ventures driven by sustainability.The project consisted of extensive literature research, interviews using generative techniques with both owners of small businesses and innovation support consultants and synthesis of tools to enhance innovation support
