Welcome to my firm, Capital Trading Group, an investment brokerage firm specializing in alternatives within the managed futures space. I began my career over 30 years ago at the Chicago Futures Exchanges. I was a featured contributor for various financial publications and co-authored a book. I was interviewed for an article published in Today’s Chicago Woman and The Daily Herald newspaper. While I continued in the teaching aspect and educating investors on managed futures, I recognized the need of the actual managers we serve. At CTG, Patrick Lafferty and I launched our own proprietary software that caters to the CTAs. The objective was to provide all the back-end service to a money manager, so the manager can focus on the trading. My firm would provide the entire infrastructure to reconciling, executing trades, assisting with business development, and marketing within the regulatory demands. Recognizing the need to diversify and mitigate counter party risks, we have established multitude of clearing relationships. I am a member of the Vistage International, the world’s leading chief executive organization, an active participant in raising money for charities, such as American Cancer Society and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. I am also a proud mother of two: a marine and a finance major in his junior year in college.   As Principal of Capital Trading Group LP, I welcome you to my firm. We are an investment firm specializing in alternatives for both the investor and the money manager (CTA). For the CTA we provide services that include execution, reconciliation, account management and more. We serve both HNW clients as well as the retail investor as they seek opportunities outside the traditional stock market. The motto that education is the best defense against investment risk, we take seriously.
