Dr. Nelly Abulata is an Expert in Healthcare & Higher Education with 24yrs of extensive knowledge and experience in Healthcare Delivery, Medical Education & Leadership, Healthcare & Higher Education Management, Transformation, Accreditation & Clinical Research. She holds the position of a Professor & Consultant of Hematology at the Department of Clinical & Chemical Pathology, Kasr Al-Ainy Medical School & University Teaching Hospital (the largest and most prestigious Medical School & the largest tertiary University Hospital complex in Africa, Middle East and the Arab Region), Cairo University, Cairo- Egypt. She is also a MENA Advisor for Healthcare & Higher Education Consultancy, Transformation & Accreditation and an External Reviewer for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in the MENA region. In addition to being the Founder and Lead Coach for CVWD Net a Women’s Leadership Development Network. A Medical Educator with particular interest in curriculum development & assessment. She possesses over 2 decades of successful Clinical Practice as a Clinical Diagnostic Hematologist with a diverse national and international background, education, training and experience. A published Author of several Journal articles that pioneered in Health Research platforms, a recognized Reviewer for Scientific Medical Journals & a Digital Health Advocate.Dr. Abulata served as a Chair & a Member of many Working Groups, Examination Boards, Advisory Committees & Hospitals and Higher Education Teams for Accreditation, Clinical and Academic Governance. She initiated, advised and spearheaded innovative projects that strategically transformed healthcare delivery. She is experienced in leading & working with teams from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in high tech work environments and enjoys mentoring learners and collaborating with colleagues across disciplines and institutions. She is also an active advocate for Women’s Leadership Development, Coaching & Training. She leads by example to foster a culture that values collaboration, innovation, engagement and empowerment.
