Associate degree in instrumentation technology from Lamar State College Orange, where I learned the fundamentals of electrical and instrumentation systems, devices, and applications. I am currently an E/I maintenance planner at International Paper, where I am responsible for planning and scheduling all daily, routine outage, annual outage, and emergency breakdown within the finished products area of the mill.In my previous roles as a front line leader and a production operator in the systems and utilities department, I gained valuable experience in monitoring and adjusting the plant water, steam, compressed air, and electrical power distribution systems, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. I also developed my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as I led a shift of 8-12 operators and 2 maintenance journeyman, and worked with other departments and stakeholders to meet the production targets and operational needs of the mill. I am motivated by continuous improvement and innovation, and I enjoy using my VBA Excel skill to create and optimize tools and reports that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance planning process. I am eager to join a team that values safety, quality, and collaboration, and that can benefit from my diverse perspectives and experiences as an E/I planner.
