Position usually has no direct supervision, so personal motivation is crucial. Involves direct customer interaction, so customer service and an ability to explain job processes are also important.

Most important part of position is being a resource to residents, both in terms of information about policies/the school, but more so in being a person they can talk to about troubles. Also required the ability to enforce policies gracefully and the ability to organize programs and activities.
