Planned and executed reorganization of the daily paper to emphasize local news instead of national news on Page A1 across 4 zoned editions. Worked with Audience and Marketing departments on messaging and tactics to achieve gain of 7,000 subscribers in critical Southwest Riverside County at a time when daily newspaper circulation elsewhere in Southern California was cratering.Led transformation of newsroom from a print-centric, risk-averse culture to a more digitally adept organization.
