About Nelson Adeosun

I am a 2 x RTS and BAFTA Award winning Producer / Director who has produced shows for BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Hulu. My recent success saw me picked as a 2022 Breakthrough Leader by the TV Collective, Fremantle and Indigo talent. I was also chosen as part of Bafta’s Elevate 2022 cohort, a specialised scheme to develop the next generation of TV producers.An alumnus of Channel 4’s Alpha Fund, Commissioning Mentoring Network and ITV’s Step Up 60, I have produced RTS Award winning Channel 4’s Damilola: The Boy Next Door, BBC3’s Bafta Nominated the Rap Game UK and created How Not to Be Racist for Channel 4 Online.I have also produced the documentary companion piece to Steve McQueen’s acclaimed Small Axe series Uprising which has won an RTS and BAFTA award.I have also produced digital content for a range of digital platforms including BBC 1xtra/ iPlayer, Not for the Radio and Mixtape Madness.My script editing on No More Wings saw the film win the 2020 TriBeCa Award for best narrative short in 2020My specific interests are human interest stories tackling some of the most interesting and complex individuals and scenes within music, sports and the wider society.
