Here in this role I work to ensure that our suppliers deliver quality product, and work on solutions to deliver high reliability quality products to the customer. I work as a liaison between external suppliers, in my Supplier Development activities, as well as interact closely with internal operations to ensure solutions to customers and timely flow down, of quality requirements, and customer concerns to suppliers.

While at this contractor assignment - I drove internal quality for operations throughout the facility, as well as maintain the location's AS9100 registration, and internal audits. I worked across departmental lines, regarding the Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as well as Non-Conformance processes. I ensured closed loop CAPA processes. Corrective Actions Requests (CARs). Recent success/accomplishment was achieving the site's new AS9100, Rev. D registration audit. No majors in the short time I was there.

Supplier quality assurance engineering for commercial satellite electronics and related hardware. West Coast procurement quality representative, source inspections, ensuring procurement quality, working with suppliers to resolve quality problems, audit prospective suppliers and their quality systems for future procurement. Provide quick turnaround of supplier inspections and closed-loop corrective actions of supplier non-conformances.

Quality Assurance Engineer for fabless Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) supplier. Coordinated/managed company's Internal Audit program in support of ISO9000:2000 and Quality Systems Management (QSM) requirements. Trained internal auditors. Ensured design and test protocols were in compliance with customer requirements. Updated procedures for best practices. Closed out new Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) program. Project manager for Continual Quality Improvement projects.

Quality Assurance, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) requirements for clinical/medical research, internal auditing, working with partner clinical sites, regarding Institutional Review Board protocol and discrepancies. Major project was to transition the organation's compliance to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to the early 2003 deadline.
