Offshore Cyber Ambassador - Responsible for reinforcing positive Cyber Security behaviours in line with company's expectations by means of coaching and hosting safety presentations for BP personnel and contractors regarding identification of cyber treats and actions to prevent becoming vulnerable to attacks. Key achievements: 1. Managed to lead 20+ people offshore to a successful Red Shutdown test which had never been done in Angola region and in BP (except from AGT region). 2. Led the whole Instrument Department (Instrument, Telecom, ICSS, Metering Techs) to a unification to deliver a major campaign to replace vulnerable Terminal blocks for Foundation Fieldbus field instruments that had history of causing plant upset and production shutdown. 3. Led the ICSS Team to a successful deployment of patches on Masoneilan positioners of 186 ESD/XXV valves in a time record. This contributed to safe and reliable operations since that removed the risk of some of these valves close spuriously during partial stroke test. Show less

Manage obsolescence of all the control systems (PLCs from Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley, and Yokogawa Centum VP/ProSafe RS) offshore and initiate project request for upgrade when necessary. 5. Specify and recommend field instrumentation to ensure higher reliability and availability.5. Conduct review of ICSS related Management of Change content.Key achievements: 1. Successfully planned, mobilized the vendor, and participated on the replacement online of the Fibre Optic Rotary Joint which caused 6 days of plant shutdown of PSVM (deferral of 1,252,000 BOE) by causing a disruption of ICSS network. Engineered control measures to prevent recurrence of similar incident. 2. Completed Root Cause Failure Analysis for vulnerabilities on Megablocks (terminal blocks for Fieldbus instruments) and worked with vendor successfully in testing new product to be used as replacement. Made criticality assessment of all Megablocks and define replacement strategy for planned/unplanned outages. This significantly reduced the plant shutdowns caused by this equipment. 3. Led the RCFA with GE and I&C Technical Authority on spurious closures of XXVs(Emergency Shutdown Valves) upon completion of Partial Stroke Test that could result in plant shutdown. Key Achievements: * Lead Continuous Improvement Project which achieved 10% alarm reduction on the first year of production of PSVM; * Was nominated and trained to be an Alarm Management Trainer for Angola region. Delivered training to Engineers and Managers.* Developed framework and report structure for Alarm Management for PSVM FPSO; * Created dashboard with KPI's from various teams and functions for Area Operations Manager and Vice President of Operations meeting.
