This role involves the ownership of multiple products’ (Mail and Web) quality and testing activities, the delivery of set milestones and insuring that these products meet product/feature requirements with the required level of quality.  Manage the day to day activities and progress of QA testers.

This role includes both hardware and software testing for new and matured products. The primary objective of this role is to identify bugs, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

This role includes providing logistics and operations guidance to both internal and external customers, change management and implementation, product packaging development, liaising with overseas contract manufactures and technical support.Responsibilities:• Develop packaging concept and packing instruction for vendor development and overseas contract manufactures implementation. This includes insuring samples are functional, recommending fixes and providing approval for mass production.• Create and provide product registration keys needed to manufacture and service of NavmanCar Navigation products.• Insure software releases and engineering changes are transferred to overseas contract manufactures and provide clear and timely instructions for implementation.• Maintain communication with overseas contract manufactures and insure logistics and operations issues are known and resolved.• Develop, configure and manage product SKUs.

This role involved planning and leading key deliverables and activities of Component Engineering Section. My key deliverable is to insure schedule adherence and provide timely feedback to stakeholders on schedule feasibility.Responsibilities:• Manage and oversees the smooth implementation of Engineering Changes to production and at the same time effectively handle obsolescence.• Manage transfer of products from other Lexmark Sites and insure all resources, materials, and system requirements are ready to meet production schedule• Manage resources and day to day task and deliverables for two junior engineers.• Provides sound judgment and disposition based on data and risk assessment fornon-conforming inkjet components.• Coordinate with suppliers on the development, availability and quality of various components for Inkjet Cartridge to include packaging.

This role included management and overseeing the day to day operations and progress of deliverable for Prototype Engineering.Responsibilities:• Oversee project development and ensures design related issues will be addressed before pilot run.• Reviews and provide feedback on design concepts and drawings based on established standards, manufacturability, experience and prototyping.• Research, develop and assist in the implementation of new materials for product use.• Conducts audit, value analysis, failure analysis on digital watch products to maintain its competitive market value and specifications.

This roles involved technical competencies to insure product is meeting product requirements and is competitive with other similar products in the market.Responsibilities:• Conducts evaluations and engineering runs on digital watches to validate and address design and manufacturing related issues that may arise in the production line and in the field.• Analyze failures on engineering runs, production highlights and from the field.• Develop immediate and final fix to correct and meet product specification.• Propose design improvements on new and matured models to improve and maintain product requirements.• Conduct competitor product dissection and highlights new design concepts and cost saving improvements for potential product improvement.• Coordinate with related departments for efficient communication between design and manufacturing.• Closely work with Planning for availability of needed components for engineering runs.

This role included management of cost reduction projects through component engineering, alternate sourcing, standardization and redesign.Responsibilities:• Resolves issues regarding quality and reliability, non-conformance of components and alternate sourcing of critical components for production continuity.• Conducts reliability test, failure analysis and at the same time establish standards for components.• Supports Purchasing Group by providing multi-source of components to achieve price and delivery time reduction.

This role involved preparation of technical standards and component specification used for production and providing dispositions for non-confirming electronic components and devices.Responsibilities:• Resolve and issue disposition on component discrepancies in terms of specification requirements and set quality standards.• Establish component standards for judgment during incoming inspection.• Conduct aggressive cost reduction of devices by alternate component sourcing, standardization and basic redesign.
