This research-heavy role allows me to evaluate medical records, depositions, and client files to determine the terms for settling workers' compensation and liability claims. I interact with client regularly to explain legal processes in easy-to-understand terms and to prepare them for depositions. My colleagues know me as a dependable collaborator, client educator, and compassionate relationship builder.

I value quality in everything I do, and I translated that passion into a quality assurance program to improve the performance of more than 1,000 claims representatives. By instituting quality standards and reviewing claims files in detail, I was able to significantly reduce errors.

As the leader of a close-knit team of case representatives, I supervised the processing of large-scale, high-profile claims. I reviewed my teams' work to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.

My enthusiasm for metrics and process improvement were on display in this position as I implemented innovative practices to improve general liability practices. I also worked to develop detailed metrics and reporting functionality for use at up to 20 offices across the country.

I assessed all kinds of claims – auto liability, general liability, and homeowners liability – for accuracy and to confirm adherence to National Quality Management Best Practice Standards.
