The Ruehlin Career Transition Seminar has been developed over the past 20 years, and provides unique insight into career transition for senior military and civil service personnel. The course adopts and refines professional private sector transition training programs to address the situations senior military/senior civil service personnel face during career transition. The result is an intense training experience that prepares the member for all phases of career transition.

Co-founder of a company specializing in Training Analysis, Curriculum Development and the application of new Learning Technologies. His company focuses on delivering Web Based Training, Interactive gaming/simulation and Mobile Learning Applications for Smart phones/Tablets. Government clients include SPAWAR, JIEDDO and NSWC Corona. Commercial clients include Infab, Kid Ventures, Concannon Business Consulting and Ruehlin Associates.

Led a team of 20 Instructional Systems Designers and Graphic artists that created Instructor Led, Computer Based and Web Based Training for a variety of government clients. His responsibilities included managing budgets, allocating workload and quality control. Project highlights and details: -Served as training consultant to the Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE) program, Expeditionary Warfare Training Center Pacific (EWTGPAC) and Navy Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA). - As a Learning Team Program Manager for the Egyptian Navy, he was responsible for the scheduling, budgeting and the quality control of several deliverables: a Training Management System (TMS) software tool, firefighting school accreditation, standup of the Egyptian Curriculum Development Center and a basic skills course for the new Fast Missile Craft crew. -Led a multi-disciplinary team that created IT-based distance learning for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS) and Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS). -Created Computer Based Training (CBT) for the Space and Naval Systems Command (SPAWAR) that trains warfighters to use new sniper and Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED) equipment.-Created Web-Based Training for the Navy Reserve Professional Development Center that supports an understanding of the mission, organization, and capabilities of the Navy Reserve.

Served 25 years as a Naval Flight Officer with carrier aviation experience in the S-3 Viking and EA-6B Prowler. Deployed across the globe for training and combat operations. Progressed to become a leader of large organizations with multi-million budgets and hundreds of employees. Shore duty included the Pentagon, Naval Air Facility Washington and at the European Command in Stuttgart Germany.
