Research and Development/Production Engineer at I-Tec. I am following up on the projects I've been working on the last 4 summer's I have interned here. We have developed and are producing a road-legal, off-road capable, flying car. Project Website is mavericklsa.com. Since I started in June, responsibilities have included drafting, and updating system components as we transition from prototype to full scale manufacturing. I machine many of my own prototypes and facilitate testing and documentation. I work with the shop manager to develop tooling and I assist in the documentation of parts and processes. I have also worked extensively on the testing and documentation necessary to comply with the ASTM standards for our vehicle. FAA Airworthiness Special Light Sport Aircraft (SLSA) certification was achieved on Sept. 28 2010.

Served as team lead during the 08-09 school year. Effectively managed the team of 12 students to meet customer requirements on the high risk project. Worked closely with real world customers through all project stages. Provided constant communication between team, faculty, and customers. Currently Team Lead Emeritus.

Focus was the design, build, test and refinement of the Maverick Flying Car wing deployment system. Responsibilities included designing components, manufacturing and overseeing manufacture of prototypes, designing test procedures, testing and refinement. Additionally responsible for recruitment, training, and management of the other interns working on the project. Served as a student representative in the Senate for 4 years, and as Senate Chaplain the last year.
