•Interface with Sales and Customers to establish product requirements.•Analyse skins,environment,assembles,chain of dimensions and isostatisme.•Support Development Engineers utilizing CAD / management and leadership of CAD resources•Detailed sketches and models according to design concepts to be developed.•Sketch of injection molds and auxiliary production tools during the development process to validate or argue the modifications of product / design.•Evaluate design ideas for feasibility based on factors, such as appearance, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and product characteristics.•Propose modifications in design to incorporate improvements, alternative solutions and •Participate in design reviews and discussions with supplier and customers.•Manage CAD database with multiple users and work with IT to implement upgrades and enhancements to CAD systems. •Produce appropriate documentation and support materials to all developers and customers.•Establish process and methods most suitable for product production.•Work with senior/manufacturing engineering, machine shop, outside vendors, manufacturing and quality to develop processes.•Recommend and/or implement changes to manufacturing process or equipment to ensure best efficiencies, reduce costs, and/or improve quality/safety.•Manage product development activities from concept: prototype to production incorporating high value and low cost; coordinate support functions in development and launch phases; pursue cost reduction opportunities; support other department areas such as project management, quality, metrology and production.•Full sense of accountability; ability to drive down to the root of issues by coming to an engineered solution when solving problems.•Self-development and training of others.•Prepare project status reports.•Report time management / consumption.•Communicate and support company policies and procedures.

Inicio de actividade na Simoldes Pásticos como projectista no desenvolvimento do Opel Meriva, 3D e 2D realizado em Unigraphics.Neste periodo também tive a oportunidade de trabalhar em projectos como; Renault J77, VW Xaran, Skoda Octavia e Visteon-Renault X85.Trabalhos realizados em Catia V4
