Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a gas turbine (Heavy-Duty) thermoelectric power plant, bi-fuel (Natural Gas and Diesel), with an installed capacity of 190 MW; performance control, budget and fuel consumption; Management of the team of operators, maintainers and third-party specialists (protection systems, automation, etc.); Interface with "ONS" (National Grid Operator).

Responsible for the maintenance planning of MRN's industrial area and for engineering applied to maintenance. Responsible for engineering support for the entire MRN (failure analysis, loss profile, implementation of improvements and new technologies, adaptation to technical and legal standards, small and medium size projects, investment analysis and implementation, structure conservation plan , etc.).

Responsible for the supply of Electricity, Water, Fuel and Steam for the industrial process of MRN and the town of Porto Trombetas through the operation and maintenance of the following assets: two thermoelectric plants with a total installed capacity of 60.6 MW; port water system; fuel tanks and pipelines; electrical grid (13.8 kV) and transmission lines (69 kV).Some of the outstanding results we achieved were the reduction in fuel consumption and lubricating oil reaching values ​​among the best of the last ten years (these two indicators account for about 80% of our cost) simultaneously to the reduction in interruptions in energy supply to the lowest values ​​since the start-up of the thermoelectric plants - that is, an increase in the reliability of the assets with a reduction in cost. This was only possible with the involvement of people, own employees and contractors (one hundred and twenty people), who are part of MRN's Generation and Distribution Department.

Responsible for the evaluation of the performance and maintenance of the Protection System of the Electrical Grid; by coordinating the process of adapting the company to NR-10 (Brazilian government standard for electricity facilities and services); by the technical approval of medium and large electric projects (new mines); by reviewing internal engineering standards; by the execution of a pilot project of RCM; by the definition and implementation of the electrical energy measurement system of the industrial area. Most relevant results: improvements in the System of Protection of the Electrical GRID, which reduced the risk of Blackout of the Thermoelectric Plants of MRN; structuring, planning, and execution of actions to adapt MRN to NR-10; management of investment projects with corporate scope (Replacement of MCC´s, evaluation of the Lightning Protection System (LPS), installation of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, etc.).

Responsible for the implementation of a new MPC of the Electrical Maintenance of the factory, with the change of the ERP and by the systematic of Failure Analysis; Supervision of preventive and predictive electrical maintenance teams; Six Sigma project (reduction of more than 60% in the burning of engines); Development of RCM and FMEA pilot projects. Working in teams with peers, subordinates and Plant Maintenance Coordination, we had a relevant participation in changing the level of availability, reliability and costs of the assets under our responsibility, reaching levels of excellence in maintenance.

Responsible for the electrical maintenance of the weaving areas as well as for the technical support and inspection of the projects and the execution of the expansion - more than 100% of the installed capacity - of the factory. Highlights: participation in the drafting of the contract for the project and the execution of the expansion of the plant and inspection of the tasks from the civil construction to the start-up of the machines and equipment.
