I'm a Piping Design Engineer with more than 9 years of Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. I am proactive in every project I am involved in and got the privilege to join in the initial design or FEED in one of the previous projects. In a mid-level position, I always assist the lead engineer in every task and deliver the necessary output on time or ahead of schedule needed for every job assignment. We also collaborated with another engineering discipline to satisfy our respective designs.Our primary deliverable is an isometric check and preparation. We produced these ISO drawings following the client's project specifications and our company's approved design standard. A critical piece of information for our ISO checking is the line list where we can find crucial upstream information for our piping, such as the insulation, Service class, sizes, temperature, pressure, and others. This line list also is our guide for making control in tracking our ISO drawing checking. Also, these ISO drawings will undergo check system design from 3D software to avoid all possible errors before issuance. Some of my notable achievements are:• Led one short-term assignment, which resulted in 2 weeks ahead of schedule.• Delegated to join the project's initial design, which resulted in 2 months ahead of schedule.• Working with a dynamic team, we completed several projects 1 month before schedule.I get excited about opportunities where I can leverage my creativity and analytical thinking skills that turn data into visuals that, in turn, benefit the company and alike.I love connecting with new people.   Initial Design Design(FEED)-I was assigned to our central Head Quarter (Japan) for this assignment. I delivered all 3D modeling updates made by the Senior Designer. Moreover, The 3D Model is frequently checked in data consistency to avoid all piling up of error models. Most importantly, We finished the job 2 months ahead of my contract.Isometric Check and Preparation-This is our main deliverable for every project. The isometric drawing follows the client's project specification and requirement and our company's approved design standard. We must achieve the minimum weekly ISO target quantity.3D Software: PDMS, E3D2D Software: AutoCAD, MicroStation-We undergo several training days before exposing ourselves to this software. P&ID Markup (mechanization)-We change some information in the P&ID. The most common is the branch sequence, such as small bore piping. Also, reducing some other lines and creating a single header line as a replacement. We also add some lines on this P&ID, such as steam condensate lines, some utility lines, and other Piping design development.Line List-We have to determine the inconsistencies from P&ID in the line list. We get a weekly update of the line list, especially on the Detailed Design Engineer or Final Isometric Checking.Flex Package Preparation-The flexibility analysis group also has its target. We submit the flex ISO packages with the indicated support forces on the drawing (X, Y, Z). Recalculation is needed if there are multiple or significant changes in the Piping, especially the critical lines (e.g., pump, compressor)Special Pipe Support (SPS) Drawing-These are the supports that are not within the standard supports. Usually, upon issuance of ISO that has Special Support should be issued simultaneously.Test Package Preparation-We use a line list as our primary reference for what type of test package to use for particular isometric test packages. We provide the test limit for the packages used at the site.
