Nelson loves the strategic and creative challenges that arrive with each new day in this business. He believes in the principle that to discover a truly original solution you must be willing to “come in stupid everyday.” So far he has not disappointed.Work Process I work alone and with others – a partner or small team (big groups confuse things). I use a Sharpie or pen to think. (I try to pick the ones pre-loaded with curiosity and delight). I explore every avenue and look for every creative ploy (e.g.: Do it wrong, right – à la Frank Gehry.) Light scares away ideas, so I avoid fluorescents. Animation aids thinking, so I move as I work; and write, as I talk.
