As a member of Husky's Digitization team, I have been tasked with developing solutions to reduce the engineering touch time of injection molding design and increase its mechanical efficiency through software automation.My primary role is to analyze and design the logic of part dimensions. I am currently building complex algorithms using computational geometry with the goal of optimizing physical components in the injection molding stack.I am fluent in many programming languages and use software version control along with pipelines to work collaboratively with my team members. I am a strong supporter of agile methodologies. My favourite tasks are those that were accepted as being too difficult or impossible to solve. I have, on multiple occasions, taken on these challenges and provided elegant solutions to them as I find this type of work most rewarding.

- Worked with PE’s to address customer’s inquiries related to non-standard conditions such as where injectability, cycle times, transfer, and tight tolerances of preforms were of concern- Design and maintain continuous improvement tools with emphasis on user-friendliness, such as the Tolerance Calculator, Thermal Calculator and Inquiry Response Tool with Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic. - Design and maintain databases containing information required by the Specials Engineering team and continuous improvement tools using Microsoft Access- Created automated Project Charter reporting tools using Microsoft Power BI and Business Objects

- Learned how molds are assembled and operate- Used Unigraphics and Husky automation tools to design customized molds for customer orders- Exercised attention to detail to ensure parts are designed properly to prevent expensive on-floor adjustments- Created bill of materials through Baan and Teamcenter so that orders can be placed for the assembly

- Investigated failures occurring in machines and identified their root causes- Designed engineering solutions to prevent reoccurrence of failures and recorded them in design documents for future reference- Utilized Unigraphics NX7.5 CAD software to create models, drawings, and bills of materials of solutions- Used GD&T standard to produce engineering drawings which were used for production- Presented proposed solutions to managers which had led to acceptance by the CEO

- Developed a humanoid robot named Brian to express human features such as facial expression and emotions whose purpose is to interact with the elderly, especially those with dementia- Improved the artificial intelligence of the robot using C++ so that the robot could respond appropriately, based on the expressions detected- Analyzed and controlled servos for facial movements using C++ - Negotiated with international companies and was able to attain a $25,000 state-of-the-art voice analysis software donation from Nemesysco Ltd.- The robot attracted attention from Daily Planet and Baycrest (Rotman Research Institute)
