I'm the leader of the Upstream Performance team of Galp.My Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for economical analysis, valuation, performance management, and the annual Business Plan of Upstream, Galp's largest business unit (2023 EBITDA of €2.3bn, c. 65% of the group's EBITDA).Previously was the leader of the Commercial and Portfolio Valuation team, which played a key role in a $830m deal to sell Galp's Angola upstream assets, and a Senior Financial Planning Analyst responsible for the economic analysis of Galp's largest upstream asset (Tupi-Iracema).Before joining Galp I was an equity analyst at Haitong Bank, covering Iberian companies, mostly utilities. In the 2017 Extel survey, after only 2 years as an analyst, I ranked #58 out of 228 analysts of Iberian companies.I have an Executive Masters in Finance from Católica Lisbon and a PhD in Physics by Imperial College London.
