Nelson is an experienced Global Executive Leader with over 40 year-experience in global logistics, supply chain, people management, executive coaching and MBA teaching. Nelson took leadership roles at IBM for over 40 years, and during his last 4 active years in the technology industry, Nelson was the Country General Manager for GEODIS. For over 10 years, Nelson has been part of the AMCHAM Council Board, and an invited Guest Speaker in Global Ethics and Leadership. Since 2014, Nelson has been involved in his own ventures with RGN Log and with an innovative project “Gray Talent” that focuses on the reinsertion of employees ages 55+ back into the workforce, and in cooperation with global companies in the recruiting, motivation and retention processes of ages 55+ talent. Currently, Nelson is the Director and Coordinator of the Post-MBA Program at Inova Business School and leads specific courses in Innovation and Future Trends, and leads executive coaching and mentoring in Brazil. Nelson holds three bachelor degrees from Universidade Santa Ursula, Fundação Getúlio Vargas and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in International Relations, Business Management and Economics, respectively. He also holds a Post-MBA from Inova Business School and an Advisory Course from IBGC, and over the course of 40+ years, he has taken multiple courses aiming at continuously developing: Financial Decisions at Babson College; Decision Analysis and SCM Development at Pace University; and Logistics at COPPEAD (UFRJ)/Michigan State University.RGN Log is a consulting company that focuses on development strategies in Logsitics Operations and Supply Chain Management.
