The Food You Choose transformed Melbourne's food system through implementing more sustainable and inclusive food. Our startup transitioned organisations to predominantly plant based meat alternatives by operating as an end-to-end supplier, removing the barriers of cost, taste and convenience that are traditionally associated with these products. We worked alongside several of Australia's largest catering companies and key universities.I led the entire operational and logistics processes for ordering, supply chain management, and event organising. I was also a Software Developer, building applications that included our inventory system, website, online store, and sustainability impact calculator. My development experience focused on using React, Typescript, AWS and Nodejs.From Jan 2019 - March 2020, we replaced over 60,000 serves of conventional meat within the Melbourne area. As a result, we dramatically reduced the environmental impact that many organisations produced from their food options. We also implemented our operation internationally at MSU University in Malaysia.

Animals Australia is Australia's largest animal protection organisation. I was part of the Farmed Animal Advocacy Team, where I worked to expand and implement outreach campaigns throughout Melbourne's university campuses.I developed a cutting edge outreach program aimed at university students. Using Dialogflow and Google Cloud Services, I created a Facebook Messenger chatbot to survey and interact with students. I also began learning JavaScript through online tutorials and instruction from my team members.We ran over 40 outreach events across seven universities. I coordinated with students, university departments, and team members to run plant based food advocacy. At the time, the program was the largest university animal outreach program.
