Kent believes that owning and operating your own business is one of the most challenging and rewarding undertakings an individual can do in their life. He believes that everyone who chooses to pursue owning their own business should be as prepared as they can be, to help ensure their success. It is this reason that he has dedicated his life to helping small business owners through the services he offers.Over the years, Kent has volunteered his time to speak at various seminars and classes for groups such as, SCORE, Fox Valley Technical College, E-Seed Classes, Fox Cities, Heart of the Valley, and Waupon Chambers of Commerce, Urban Hope Classes, Home Based Business Association, Inventors Network of Wisconsin, Neenah High School and the Fox Valley Apartment Association. Kent has also been a guest speaker on SCORE's Biz-Talk Radio show on WHBY 1150AM several times, and has appeared on a local cable television show on TWCT called "Growing our Future".Kent served on the Small Business Committee for the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce. In December, 2004, Kent was elected to the Board of Directors for Great Lakes Asset Corporation, a Certified Development Company with the SBA. Kent was awarded the 2005 Financial Services Advocate of the Year by the Wisconsin SBA, in recognition of his support and advocacy of small business.Kent has an Accounting Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. He has worked for several public accounting firms assisting small businesses with various tax and accounting issues. He has also worked for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a fortune 100 Company, in their Internal Audit Department. There he performed various audits in corporate locations throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, and Asia.
