Responsible for the design and construction of Braniff's corporate facilities at DFW Airport. The work included 360,000 sq ft executive offices, training facilities including 2 6-axis simulators, emergency evacuation trainers, 107 room hotel for flight crew layovers and training, computer center, covered parking, 6 acre lake 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, handball courts, gymnasium, and complete gated security.Earlier, I was project engineer and later director of the start-up operations at DFW Airport. Was responsible for the largest single carrier unit terminal-DFW at the time, a state-of-the-art destination coded vehicle baggage system, passenger boarding bridges procurements, ticket counter millwork procurement, departure lounge systems seating, security additions, a three-bay line maintenance hanger and adjacent stores facility with AS/RS subsystem, a 168,000 sq ft air cargo facility with tilt-tray sorter and LD-3 container sort system, 66k sq foot flight kitchen, and a 22k sq ft ground support equipment garage. All were operational for DFW opening on January 13, 1974.
