• Managed all back office related functions to our Operations in the Southern Region (5 States, 13 School Districts).
• Recruited, trained and supervised 5 full-time operation coordinators and 60+ part-time employees.
• Managed extremely rigorous contract compliance and invoicing for each of our school districts. In just 1 year, cut down invoicing submission by 33-66%. In majority of school districts, invoicing went from 90 days to 30.
• Implemented an Eligible Hours Maximization initiative by which program managers were able to recover an additional 10-20% of revenue by targeting students who had not yet completed their full allocation of service hours.
• Spearheaded annual state evaluation process in Florida that determined our organization’s service designation based on student attendance and overall student performance/improvement, as well as stakeholder surveys for.
• Established annual, temporary, in-house call center and data processing team, manned by 50+ individuals scheduled across 7 days a week throughout a 12-15 hour workday.

Central And South Florida

• Managed complete operations, with profit and loss responsibility, for the delivery of supplemental educational services to eligible schools in the Orange, Palm Beach and Broward County School Districts.
• As a member of the founding team, I oversaw our market entry into the Central Florida Region via Orange County (Orlando, FL). In our inaugural year of service (2006-2007 Academic Year), we serviced two school.
• Directed all Business Development efforts by managing relationships with school districts, acquiring partner schools and hiring, training and supervising all regional employees.
• Worked with our technology consultants to design and implement our proprietary database system, named MiniSIS, which was created to serve as a standard national operational resource to measure program performance.
• Designed and implemented company trainings related to technology and Rocket Learning’s Operational Process.
• Designed and piloted a Regional Program Model that is presently responsible for bringing approximately $2.3 MM in revenues for the 2010-2011 academic year in the Southern and Midwest Regions alone.

Greater New York City Area And Jacksonville, FL

• Managed complete operations, with profit and loss responsibility, for the delivery of supplemental educational services to eligible schools in the New York City School District. Approximately $18 MM.
• Managed 20+ full-time staff and over 500 seasonal employees.
• Directly managed a team that was responsible for 41% of the revenue for our Fall Cycle and 47% of the revenue for our Spring Cycle, approximately 8.6 MM total.
• Assisted in the development of a Scorecard system that was designed to provide a snapshot of the profit and loss at each of our respective sites along with key identifiers that would be instrumental in formulating.
• Managed all reporting obligations to the School District.
• Conducted market research to validate the feasibility of offering programs in Duval County as originally dictated by our Corporate Pre-Expansion Team.

Greater New York City Area

• Acquired and managed 12-16 sites per cycle (2 cycles per year). Approximately 20% more sites than other Director.
• Achieved highest retention (over 90%) of program sites in an industry with high turnover.
• Considered a turnaround specialist, going into sites where the relationships were deemed irreparable and formulating and executing strategies that would result in an invitation for Platform to stay and continue to.
• Experienced in conducting behavioral interviews. Worked with a team of colleagues in identifying, interviewing and hiring in excess of 200 full-time employees nationwide.

• Established an office support team of 30+ employees that also served as the company’s in-house call center.
• Targeted and enrolled 2,000 students for Platform’s initial program launch.
• Responsible for student database and attendance recording which included preparation of invoices to be submitted to school districts.
• Tracked student progress and managed all data to be used in our Year End Report to the parents and School District.

• Reorganized organizational structure to be able to sustain scalability in support of a multi-site, multi-program initiative.
• Wrote proposals that quadrupled the organization’s annual budget from $50 K to over $250 K, totaling $2 MM.
• Managed Contracts, reporting and oversaw all annual audits to programs by all funding sources.
• Hired, trained and supervised all 25+ programmatic staff, consultants and sub-contractors.
• Managed school partner relationships, overseeing search, expansion and/or relocation to new school partner site.

• Researched school management technologies such as: Library Automation Systems, School ID Card Systems, Web-site development tools, and electronic surveys for implementation in partner schools.
