With a kaleidoscope spanning 30 years of bold leadership and strategic expertise, I have held positions at the highest levels of the U.S. Department of Defense and the Air Force. My career included two stints focused on strategy development and implementation within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. I commanded organizations at the squadron and group levels. I pioneered military start-ups, leading the Pathfinder initiative within the Chief of Staff of the Air Force's Strategic Studies Group and co-leading Project Everest. Now, I am channeling my passion for innovation and leadership into the private sector, as the CEO & co-founder of VetScore, a start-up dedicated to empowering veterans, and Good Strategy, a consulting and coaching business. My work continues to challenge the status quo and catalyze rapid transformations within organizational cultures, delivering bold strategies and leadership guidance to drive success.💡 Empowering Mavericks & Fostering Innovation 💡My leadership is defined by a commitment to empowering mavericks, fostering innovation, and navigating uncharted territory. I excel at embedding bold, groundbreaking strategies into the core of organizations.🎓 Lifelong Learning 🎓I wear my educational colors with pride, holding a certificate in Management Excellence from Harvard Business School, a certificate in Organizational Consulting & Change Leadership from Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership, a certification in Military and Veterans Health, Policy, and Advocacy from William and Mary, and master’s degrees in counseling and military strategy.🌟 From National Strategy to Disruptive Innovation 🌟I concluded my role as Senior Air Force Strategist in the Secretary of Defense’s Force Development Office, where I was a core member of the 2022 U.S. National Defense Strategy development and writing team. Now, I am at the helm of two private-sector ventures—VetScore & Good Strategy driving disruptive innovation and transformative strategies across industries.📚 Sharing Wisdom 📚As an adjunct instructor for the Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College, I savor the privilege of sharing my knowledge of leadership and airpower history with the torchbearers of tomorrow.💬 Let’s Forge Pathways to the Future 💬If your spirit resonates with leadership, start-ups, strategy, education, bold innovation, or Veteran issues, let’s connect and ignite the sparks of change.
