United Lighting Solutions (ULS) is a Direct Factory Representative firm going to market through Distribution with practiced strategies as well as an innovative strategy helping Distributors recruit Contractors, ESCO's and Verticals as well as Retrofit Project administration for all. We recruited and worked with Distribution nationwide helping them reach their customer base by offering extended services through Retrofit Sales. We also developed and then supervised a "Retrofits by Remote" program through Distribution so they could recruit both Contractors and other Vertical Sales Groups to provide comprehensive training in lighting that allowed the program to be successful.

Hired to work concurrently as a Temporary Sales Expansion Director to grow the brand and expand their reach through Manufacturer's Representatives, DIstribution, Contractors and ESCO's. My efforts resulted in an expansion of representation from 4 to 28 States along with direct introduction into Distribution outlets along with Contractor and ESCO distribution.

I was hired as Vice President of Sales for a three year old start-up LED Manufacturing Company. Responsibilities included recruiting a sales force, hiring manufacturer sales representatives, recruiting distribution partners and developing a strategy that would grow the customer base from a local to a national presence. To make national expansion a reality, I developed a sales strategy based on industry differentiation. This strategy resulted in a new hybrid sales channel which included a variety of traditional sales outlets combined with several new industries and channel partners that have never before explored lighting opportunities. Providing total Retrofit solutions to Lighting Distributors, ESCO's, Electrical Contractor's and several Verticals that are not commonly associated with the Lighting Industry were also targeted to be Direct Customers in areas where Representation and Distribution had not taken hold.I also developed the training, marketing and sales strategies for the organization as well as for a variety of new partners and industries. These strategies resulted in a major shift from the traditional industry sales model to a new approach with unlimited possibilities.The result was expansion from a localized 3 state base to 41 states by developing the first successful Hybrid Sales Strategy of its kind resulting in prodigious sales growth.

That Duty was terminated early as I was recruited and trained in Military Police Investigations and immediately transferred to the US Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID), West Germany in Level One Drug Suppression/Covert Narcotics serving as Team Leader working closely with both the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and the German Kriminalpolizei (KRIPO).
