As a member of the Project Management team at Worley's Dubai office, I held a dynamic role dedicated to managing and coordinating multidiscipline engineering activities. My primary objectives were to ensure a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely execution of projects. I acted as a key technical liaison with Clients and subcontractors, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to the Basis of Design, as well as all relevant regulatory and code requirements.With a focus on active involvement in the development of overall project schedules and overseeing team activities to align with the planned program, I thrive in a role where effective planning and meticulous attention to initial project steps contribute significantly to successful project delivery.Responsibilities:• Project management: Skilled in managing multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure efficient, and timely project execution.• Strategic Planning and Oversight: Actively involved in developing overall project schedules and supervising team work to align with planned programs.• Commercial management: Effectively manage assigned budgets within Worley total scope.• Cost Control: Monitor project cost aspects, exercise direct control, forecast final costs, identify trends, and take proactive measures to avoid overruns.• Scope Management: Ensure compliance with Worley Project Management Procedures (WPMP), align with specific project requirements, and implement an effective change control process.• Client Relationship: Establish, build, and maintain healthy relationships with clients, allowing for proactive resolution of performance, scope, and schedule issues as they arise.• Risk Management: Monitor the closure of identified risks and opportunities, providing support for the identification and mitigation of risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Working as a part of the Engineering department on the Hail and Ghasha project, which is of strategic importance to Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Project consists of construction of 11 artificial Islands in Hail and Ghasha fields for ADNOC - Upstream.It includes: jetty structures (concrete and steel superstructure), piling works, early civil works (drill pad slabs, well cellars, well trenches, manholes, apron slabs and much more), block quay wall construction, rock works (breakwaters, seawalls and harbor revetments), dredging, pontoons and a lot of other supporting activities.Responsibilities:• Liaising with the Client, sub-contractors and consultants to make sure that objectives are met throughout all project phases;• Managing with multidisciplinary teams and coordination between departments, HODs and Project Managers daily;• Liaising with the consultants to finalize the design documentation to find the best solution that serves all parties;• Preparation of the Project supporting documents in accordance with the design and Client’s specifications as well as Company’s procedures and tender documentation;• Leading draftsmen in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings for submissions to the Client;• Working with Contracts Manager for claims and variation order preparation;• Developing and exploring site construction methods in coordination with Construction Managers and Operations team;• Liaising with the Planning department to implement any changes due to SOW change from subcontractors or consultants;• Participating in internal technical discussions related to bidding process and technical evaluation of bids as support to Procurement department;• Performing Technical Evaluation/review of tender documents, identifying problem areas and deviations from the Projects specifications and ensuring that all matters are discussed with the Client.

After leaving Ecocoast worked as a Freelance Civil Engineer. Being able to independently organize my tasks and work from home gave me the opportunity to spend more time with my family.I was collaborating with multiple companies and individuals within UAE as well as in Serbia and Bosnia. My tasks and projects were mostly encompassing technical detailed drawings, as built drawings and development of other technical documents and reports.

As a part of the Engineering department in Ecocoast I was involved in all construction projects from tender phase to completion and handing over to Clients.Project portfolio was versatile, from smaller projects like beach rectification and beach construction to piling works for pontoons and jetties, rock works (revetments, scour protection) and temporary structures made of environmentally friendly geotextile containers.Responsibilities:• Liaising with clients, consultants and sub-contractors;• Technical procedures documentation and support for site activities;• Preparing tender documentation and cost estimations;• Project planning and budgeting, cost reporting and variation management;• Detailed report writing, earthworks calculation, as built drawings;• Site supervision, coordination between teams and delegating tasks.

Ecobarrier is leading the market in new marine solutions (manufacturing several product lines: buoys, silt curtains, oil booms, geosynthetics) so as a part of Technical department I was supporting manufacturing side with all kind of technical solutions for the products.
