I was working in industry business line (logistic) on series of products for automated warehouse (warehouse of goods) management (storage and retrieval).The range of AS/RS solutions have already been implemented in a wide range of industries for many well-known companies (general merchandise, fashion and food retail companies).High level control software developed as a Win service in .Net (full framework and core 3.1), persistence NHibernate + Oracle DB; unit and integration tests via SpecFlow; TCP/IP communication with hardware (PLC controllers handling cranes, shuttles, etc.), REST services for communication with host system. Java Web client application for system monitoring (Apache wicket + Kendo UI). Software development process carried on Jira, Git, Artifactory…My responsibilities were to develop and provide solution to the customer, work closely with QA team on testing and bug fixing, supporting integration teams during commissioning phase…In parallel, I took a care for newbies to become familiar with general software development process and with our products.

There are three main lines of my activities:1.Introduction and improvements of working proceduresThe basic idea is to tighten all the teams (BA, development, support, sales, operation office) and synchronize all their activities with aim of minimization of cost, shorten development time, fasten response on customer’s requests, advanced monitoring and risk management. There are two new procedures: creating tasks for programmers and members of other teams and procedure for processing customer’s requests. MS TFS is inducted as a new tool for monitoring these procedures (among MS Project Server and SysAID).2.Leading of development teamI manage (create, assign and schedule the tasks) all the members of development team. I train the new people and bring them into the business.3.Definition and development of software productsThe basic idea is to move sector from project oriented to product oriented and use all of the advantages of market driven organization over sales driven organization.According to the market requirements, Asepa CM is defined as the product. I wrote Product Requirements Document and technical specification (using Enterprise Architecte) of ACM. I lead the development team consisting of 4 developers (2 junior and 2 senior) that completed the first phase of ACM product.

In the first part of this period, I worked primary as a programmer. I have used Java language for programming client side (desktop and web), server side (Documentum jobs, automatic workflow activities, TBOs, server methods…), web services (JAX-WS), windows services… Also I have used a wide range of EMC Documentum developing tools (WDK, DFC, DFS, DAB, Composer, Workflow manager, Process builder, Forms builder…).Later, I joined BA team. As a part of these activities I wrote a lot of various documents: technical pre-sales documents, customer requirements documents and functional specifications. I analyzed requirements together with customers (interviews with customers, reading the law, reading the internal customer’s rule books…) and made a reconciliation between customer’s requirements and our solutions.I was active participant of implementation team. I installed solutions, trained end users, wrote users guides. In the post production period, I provided support to customers: direct contact with customers, processing CRs, bug fixing…Subject of all projects was implementation of Document Management Systems using EMC Documentum platform. Projects was oriented toward banking and public sector, mostly, but also we covered insurance companies, publishing houses...
