Changing the face of wall street as Program Director of Wall Street Bound, Inc, an education and training not for profit focused on recruitment, exposure, licensing and placement of inner city youth into front office intern positions on Wall Street.In my role, I support the Founder & CEO as a key team member of the leadership team. I oversee all aspects of program execution to ensure underrepresented youth across the globe access the technical “hard” skills of finance and the “soft” skills of corporate culture to achieve beyond their present horizons, become agents of positive change and sustainable economic development.

I am honored to serve on The Chosen NYC Basketball Board! I get to bring my passion for the Gospel, New York City, basketball and youth to an organization committed to equipping and inspiring students and young adults to learn life and leadership skills through the game of basketball. Our goal is to introduce our players to proven, developed, basketball principles while drawing inspiration from professional athletes and community leaders. Our mission is laser-focused on basketball while simultaneously rooted in developing a personal relationship with Jesus ChristMy leadership will assist in raising awareness and expanding the Chosen NYC Basketball network by increased donors, board members, talent advancement, ministry advancement and volunteer engagement.‍

Student Dream is a 501C3 financial education nonprofit that trains black and brown youth to build wealth. We are the 21st century vision of Dr. King’s beloved community where freedom rings "from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city." A community where "we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: “Free at last! Free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”In 2019, Black families' median wealth was $24,100 (Fed Reserve). That's not the mountaintop that Dr. King, the muse of Student Dream, envisioned for the Negro in America. WE are changing this.Our Money Matters, Wealth Matters, Startup, Music Money, and Student Investors program creates "economic gardens" in economically distressed communities. I oversee strategy, fundraising and teams that have trained 1500+ students from 71 colleges and 50 High Schools to develop and execute a vision for money and life. Under my bold and servant leadership we've won six figure grants from The Brooklyn Community Foundation, Carnegie Hall, Community Foundation of New Jersey, New York Department of Youth and Community Development, Redeemer Presbyterian Church, and Techstars foundation. Additionally, we've secured partnerships with The Obama Administration, The City of Newark and New York, CUNY, Howard, Google, Medgar Evers College, Comp Sci HS, Uncommon Schools, Bronx Borough Hall and My Brothers Keeper.Our work has been featured in Blavity, Black Enterprise and BET.*While our aim and theory of change is to intentionally close economic gaps in historically oppressed communities (black, latino, indigenous), we joyfully serve and collaborate with students, volunteers, staff, mentors and partners from all ethnic backgrounds. Our mission is built on MLK Junior's vision of a beloved community.

Top 3 favorite position of my career!Instructed 16 student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary to realize individual and team success. At the same time, I provided a foundation for integrity, pride of accomplishment, sportsmanship, self-discipline, goal setting, and self-confidence.Designed and managed practices and game plans that created a team culture of hard work, teamwork and joy while also increasing the winning record by 200%.

In the Lab Product Management is a product manager incubator program specifically for people of underrepresented races and genders in tech. The program emphasizes hands-on experience in building web app products using no-code tools and offers mentorship from industry experts. By participating in the program, trainees gain practical skills and receive actionable feedback to help them launch their product management careers.

Generously funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, The Workshop on Racial Equity in Technology Conference exists to expand the body of research at the intersection of race, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It will provide an opportunity for scholars across disciplines to present and gain feedback on their research from peers and industry practitioners. Workshop Co-chairs: Charlton McIlwain, Vice Provost - New York UniversityRachel M.B. Atkins, Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellow - New York UniversityResponsible for the full project life-cycle of the annual Workshop funded by the Kauffman Foundation. The workshop brings together scholars and practitioners to expand the body of research at the intersection of race, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Managed cross-functional team of 2 NYU administrators, 2 program chairs, 50 scholars, 12 practitioners to solidify Workshop goals, ensure successful completion of tasks, and communicate Workshop outcomes. Facilitated and coordinated sponsorship relationships with the Center for Critical Race and Digital Studies at NYU, Kapor Center for Social Impact, NYU Stern Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship, and Imperial College Business School.
