CurrentEnter The Gym. Asia’s first co-working space dedicated to e-sports. It is from the love for sports and wanting to see Singapore on the world map that I envision combing my two loves, sports and events, to put in motion a movement that can hopefully see a Singaporean emerge as a world champion.The Gym, as the name suggests, is a place when budding e-sports teams, enthusiasts can come together, compete, spar and ultimately level up as they embark on their e-sports journey. After more than 20 years in the events sector and with offices in Tokyo, Shanghai and Singapore, I am privileged to be able to offer my knowledge and expertise to set-up a state-of-the-art facility that can not only host competitions, but also house teams, e-sports businesses and any like-minded individuals who wants to be a part of the dynamic, energetic, start-up vibe that we have at The Gym.The Gym is also designed to accommodate events on our third floor where prospective clients can make use of a unique 2000 square-feet, 5m high space to hold any events. But by far, what will happen on the first floor is the one that truly excites me. I hope to host competitions that pit the best in Asia against each other. My dream is the create the Premier League of e-sports in Asia, and hopefully the world.To help me on that dream, it is my privilege to announce that The Gym will be partnering American e-sports powerhouse De Tune as consultants with the aim of co-creating leagues and competitions. De Tune has worked with the likes of Riot Games and has organised events such as the Fortnite and PUBG global championships.But it will not all be about gaming. My vision is for The Gym to also be a place where potential professional gamers can pick up the right habits about fitness and nutrition and set them on the right, professional path towards gaming.Let the GAMES BEGIN…
