Key achievements include:- Negotiating and managing a range of partnerships including:*The National Archives - ‘Letters of a Nation’ public engagement campaign* The Australian Film Institute - ‘200 seconds’ short film competition* News Limited - national syndicated newspaper supplement* Foxtel and Macmillan Publishing - creation of a telemovie documentary and book to mark the 200th year of the nation’s postal service* Department of Education - creation of a curriculum program implemented in primary schools nationally* Opera Australia - Australia Post Opera in the Bowl public performance at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the Royal Australian Mint for the creation of a commemorative coin.- Collaborating with the national Post Office Network and Philatelic Group to create a range of commemorative merchandise for sale in Post Offices nationally, including a series of commemorative stamps.- Developing auspost.com.au/200years website with engaging content for employees and the public, including an interactive timeline depicting the history of the nation’s postal service.- Creating a program of celebratory activities to engage team members and key customers including the Bicentenary Medal for outstanding contribution to business and the community and family days in all states.- Managing pro-active media relations to generate coverage in metro, regional and suburban media, including re-enacting the delivery of the first mail by tall ship in Sydney Harbour.
