Senior Project Officer – Adult Education Budget

London, United Kingdom

The Adult Education Budget (AEB) funds the delivery of education and training for learners aged 19+. On 31 January 2019, the Mayor received a letter from the Department for Education confirming London's AEB allocation for the academic year 2019/20 of circa £306m to deliver adult education in London. AEB providers enter into individual contracts to deliver a range of education and training services to both in-work and out of work London residents aged 19 or above, to help them gain qualifications, progress into further education and ultimately access and sustain employment. The procured AEB funding will be used as match to some of London’s European Social Fund (ESF) allocation.
