About Nerisa D.
I have completed a PhD in Psychology followed by a Graduate Certificate in Project management, all supporting my work in assisting with the planning, execution, and control of major projects in a range of professional settings. I have worked on a series of projects including evaluating energy management strategies of professional employees, investigating safety culture in the maritime industry, and strengthening organisational processes to protect and support organisational whistleblowers. I have worked in differing university positions and have successfully increased my responsibilities and skills; starting as a general research assistant and growing in my roles as a lead research assistant, project officer, survey and business manager for a multi-million-dollar research project, and a coordinator of renowned social and personality psychology hub. In 2022, I made the jump from a university setting to fintech - applying my organisational, process management, and team management skills to a new setting. I am thoroughly enjoying this challenge to work in a significantly more fast paced and ever changing environment and have a new found appreciation for working with customers using our products to the external stakeholders invested in the rise of fintechs like Pinch!
