This site is used as a benchmark by many other Councils.Effectively managed and improved Council’s website content, in a multi-service local government environment with processes, policies and legislation which are never straight forward. This has required nurturing solid relationships and trust with staff, a strong service approach, and balancing internal requirements with the needs of the user through discussion and negotiation. Working with an internal team, designed and implemented a new intranet site in 2017, to provide a platform for staff to interact, collaborate and access reliable, easy-to-find content. Staff use of their intranet site has more than doubled since going live.Project managed the redesign of the corporate website moreland.vic.gov.au in 2014. While this site is now due for redevelopment, the project saw the successful implementation of a new CMS across Council and better content, search and functionality, such as mapping, waste calendars and park search which has resulted in significantly more visits.
