- monitoring changes in energy and environmental policies in each EU Member state while exchanging information on renewable energy sources and sustainability- assist in the research of the market attractiveness and potential of renewable energy sources from primary solar or battery storages, using data from industrial and government publications such as European Commission, IEA, IRENA, ENTSO-E, Eurelectric, ACER, WindEurope and SolarPower Europe- assistance in reporting on regulatory and non-regulatory developments (goals, subsidies and project announcements) in the area of sustainability and energy efficiency- contribute to the preparation of policy-oriented publications, quarterly studies of non-commodity costs and update on policy materials for clients presentations

- budget preparation and invoice validation services for the Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Norway energy markets- data collection and entering and processing data in internal data systems within a set time frame

- maintaining a database of observation personnel strength at each location, coordinating with Operations Expert and Head Office Human Resources office to check accuracy before providing to senior management for use in briefings and information products- checking the accuracy of data provided in the observation field reports and giving feedback to the operations expert where required- supporting the development of requirements, planning and use of technical monitoring assets by providing administrative and IT support to management tasks and providing support to statistical and policy analysis

- preparing customs documentation and ensuring shipments and ensuring that shipments meet all applicable Italian government laws to facilitate the import and export of goods- calculating duty and tariff payments on shipments- advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, quotasor other customs-related matters- quote duty and tax rates on goods to be imported, based on regional tariffs and excise taxes

- learning the structure of the Slovenian environmental policy organization - getting familiar with the key players of forest policy, national legislation and National Forestry Act- analysis of multi-level governance characteristics of the European Union and the Europeanization process- learning all the steps of scientific paper development and putting this knowledge into practice- preparing, organizing and analysing the materials in regard to the European Union Timber Regulation experience in Member States

- supporting the Operations Expert in ensuring that all necessary logistical and operational arrangements are provided to the mission (including to the core staff, long-term observers, short-term observers and all other persons, delegations, organizations for which the mission provides support- supporting the Operations Expert in ensuring the establishment of a fully functional mission head office- supporting the activity of the election observation mission and international observers in any other aspect required

- provide a framework by which students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to UNDP offices, where their educational experience can be enhanced through practical work assignments- conducting interviews with stakeholders- expose them to an international environment- expose them to the work of organization with the objective of deepening their knowledge and understanding of UNDP's goals, principles and activities - provide UNDP offices with assistance of qualified students specialized in various professional fields
