• Assist and provide counsel to Alpari on all aspects of the firm's business, including the retail and institutional foreign exchange and futures brokerage business, corporate law and corporate governance, derivatives and futures law, intellectual property, technology law, labor and employment law, immigration law.• Evaluate and interpret the impact of all legal, regulatory and compliance-related requirements promulgated by US and international governmental and self-regulatory organizations, including the CFTC, NFA, SEC and FSA for Alpari’s branch offices located in New York, Boston, Chicago, Iowa, and Indiana;• Draft and negotiate complex licensing and servicing agreements, joint venture, advertising and revenue sharing deals, including white labeling agreements, IB agreements, advisor and money manager agreements, clearing agreements, and omnibus account agreements; • Prepare, review and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, credit support annexes, prime brokerage agreements and guarantees, give-up and risk participation agreements, electronic trading and liquidity provider agreements, and M&A and financing transactions as necessary for Alpari’s electronic trading platforms for institutional investors and traders; • Analyze Dodd-Frank and ensure that Alpari remains globally compliant with all regulations as they pertain to the FX and futures industry, and re-negotiating and re-drafting contracts, in accordance with the federally mandated changes, as appropriate. • Manage the U.S. legal intern program, including hiring/selecting legal interns, supervising and assigning workload, and training.
