Maintain and troubleshoot all aspects of hospital’s Cisco data network including all aspects of NX-OS and IOS routing and switching. Deployed three active/standby ASA pairs in a production environment, as well as maintain Cisco ASA firewalls including VPN connections, access-lists, NATing, packet inspection. Configuration, and management of Cisco access points, wireless LAN controllers, and management software. Security management using Cisco Secure ACS 5.4. Work closely with all other members of the network/systems team and the department to ensure success of technology initiatives. Projects include but not limited to the redesign and deployment of East Orange General Hospital core infrastructure migrating off legacy Hewlett Packard equipment onto new Cisco equipment, design and deployment of Saint Josephs’s Hospital core infrastructure. Upgraded NX-OS code for Nexus 5596 and Nexus 7009 core switches, as well as chassis swap out. Upgraded code for ASA firewall from 9.1(4) to 9.4(4). Migrated WAN links between 23 campuses to eBGP, EIGRP remained on the LAN links. Escalation point for members of the engineering, offsite, support teams. Support at the highest level for all infrastructure troubleshooting.
