The role involves research into medical conditions, phoning family members to discuss functionality of the prospective participant and requesting further evidence from family members, medical practitioners and other service providers. This information must be processed in a timely manner to comply with legislation. Once all medical evidence is received, a decision can then be made as to eligibility into the Scheme. If medical evidence is not received within the requisite timeframe, the application is withdrawn. Phone calls and correspondence are undertaken to advise participants of the decision to complete the process. Show less
