As an impact entrepreneur, I've been committed for the past seven years to contribute to the mitigation of the climate crisis by creating lower environmental footprint plant-based food technology while strengthening the economy of small-scale farmers in the Dominican Republic. Our efforts at Plant Powered have been recognized by the International Trade Centre's Youth Ecopreneur Awards, the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards, Premios Latinoamerica Verde, VII National Entrepreneurship Awards and Forbes' 30 Business Promises of the Year, among other prestigious organizations. I have had the privilege of sharing my journey on cardinal platforms such as the United Nations, SIDS4, Climate Week, Global Entrepreneurship Week, SOCAP, among others. As a nationally awarded poet since the age of fifteen, I have published two poetry collections and have been featured in over a dozen anthologies and literary magazines throughout LatAm, the US and Europe. My poetic work, which addresses pressing social and environmental issues, has been showcased in numerous literary events across these three global regions in the last twenty years.
