Chairperson of the Hospice Volunteer Managers Network (HVMN), sharing my expertise through providing strategic leadership, encouraging communication, promoting collaboration and acting an an ambassador. HVMN is the UK’s leading professional network for anyone managing volunteers in a palliative care setting. We are a non-profit organisation that supports the sharing of skills and knowledge, fosters collaboration and champions the unique value that palliative care volunteers provide.

AVSM is organised into regions, coordinated by Regional Reps who are themselves members of AVSM. Regional Reps arrange meetings, which happen 3 or 4 times per year and arrange training events for members to attend. These are hosted by members within the region. The AVSM is grouped into eight regions: South, London North West Thames, South West, Midlands, East Anglia, North East, North West and Scotland.
