Nesha Sanghavi is providing fashionable, high-quality, size-inclusive clothing for women as the owner and CEO of chicka-d. Inspired by her time as a varsity cheerleader at West Virginia University, Nesha launched her first apparel brand in 2009 to address the lack of feminine, collegiate-branded clothing. Under Nesha's leadership, the company expanded from two university licensing contracts to more than 250. Today, chicka-d is celebrated for both its elevated essentials clothing and its collegiate apparel. The brand is carried in more than 2000 U.S. retailers.In 2016, Nesha was honored as West Virginia’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2018, she delivered the WVU December Commencement keynote address and established a scholarship at WVU’s John Chambers College of Business and Economics to support future entrepreneurs. In 2019, she became the youngest inductee into the John Chambers College Roll of Distinguished Alumni.
