Neshea Jackson is a Philadelphia resident who serves as a PARALEGAL in the Employment Unit at Community Legal Services, Formally a School Crossing Guard, for the City of Philadelphia. In addition serving on Research Advisory Board Member at Drexel University’s, Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and a volunteer Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for youth in the child welfare system. Although she still feels the impact of arrests she experienced more than 30 years ago, she wants to share her story of pursing record relief to spread the word about similar opportunities for people, like her, whose history of justice involvement does not accurately reflect the person they are today. Ms. Jackson has engaged audiences at the 2023 Annual Conference of the American Psychology-Law Society, and the 2023 ABA/NLADA Equal Justice Conference.
