Many of my family members were programmers and as a young kid growing up this influenced my interest in programming. My uncles would give me riddles and I would enjoy spending time trying to find a solution, and now these riddles are still discussed at family get-togethers where we would all try to find an answer to the logic problem and sometimes try to develop code to solve the riddles for us, this developed into my love of one of my favorite aspects of programming, problem solving. After entering Grand Valley State University and working with groups and in labs on various projects for my Computer Science major I realized that another one of my favorite facets of the programming profession was the privilege to be able to work with others. I enjoyed engaging with or discussing issues and problems with other members in the major. Being able to see the many different approaches to solving different problems and the ability to work with the programming community has taught me to explore different perspectives. The privilege of working in a team, and being able to take input from others has helped me grow, not only as a programmer but as a person as well.Currently I am a Developer at Level Data.
